He said that Puneet has accepted the offer to star in Reddy Brothers' film. He added that talks were going on at the moment and they are yet to take a final decision. Some sources claim that Shivanna spoke about Puneet's film with Reddy Brother. But denied to tell whether they are venturing into film production or they will star in one of his movies. Only time will answer this question. However, it should be remembered here that the relationship of Dr. Rajkumar family with Bellary is not a new thing. Of the 78 films produced so far by them, 5 films have run for over one year, 16 have been silver jubilee films, 31 are 100 days hits and all have run over 50 days. That is the achievement of Dr. Rajkumar's home production company. The programme started with an invocation to Lord Ganesha. Dr. Rajkumar's grandsons were dressed in white. The clips of Jackie and songs from the film gave some entertainment. Many dignitaries from the Kannada film industry were felicitated and spoke at the function. A surprise came from Raghavendra Rajkumar, the producer of Jackie and the event organizer. Along with Jackie celebrations, he organized a felicitation for his brother Shivarajkumar. It was a big surprise for Shivarajkumar, when the seven minutes audio visual on his life journey in cinema was screened. Shivarajkumar became very emotional and wiped his tears of joy. Parvathamma Rajkumar broke down hugging her son Shivarajkumar. It was an emotion-filled atmosphere. The 30 plus family members on stage affectionately honoured Shivarajkumar.
